100,000 Weddings at Andhra Pradesh

Hyderabad, June 1 : An estimated 100,000 Hindu couples tied the knot in Andhra Pradesh on a day astrologers termed as the most auspicious for weddings.
About 20,000 marriages took place Wednesday in Annavaram temple in East Godavari, a major pilgrim centre and preferred by many for marriages.
Thousands of weddings were reported in the famous Tirupati temple and in dozens of other pilgrim centres across the state since the morning.
Now, those were real mass weddings. The events must’ve been quite a sight!
