Billie Piper bans children from wedding
Banning is such a harsh word. When my Husband and I got married, we didn’t ban children from wedding but due to financial constraints, we chose not to invite children to our wedding (save for our flower girls and ring/coin bearers). I know that when my sister got married in January of this year, she also did not invite children of our cousins which turned into a minor drama where our cousin refused to attend the wedding. Surely, it’s the prerogative of the couple who they want to be at their own wedding?
What do you think?
Doctor Who star Billie Piper has infuriated her fiance’s family by banning children from attending their forthcoming wedding.
The actress is set to tie the knot with Laurence Fox on New Year’s Eve but she and her parents don’t want youngsters at the event at Cowdry Park Estate, in West Sussex, England.
Laurence’s uncle, producer Robert Fox, is said to be particularly annoyed after he was told his youngest children would not be welcome.
A friend is quoted as saying: “Robert is very upset and has made his opinions known. The Fox family thinks weddings should include children.
“The bride’s family obviously do not want screaming kids in the church. The whole thing has gone down like a lead balloon.”
