Bridal March Song

Gone are the days that the only bridal march song allowed as the bride walks down the aisle is Richard Wagner’s bridal march song that goes like “Here comes the bride, all dressed in white”.

Now, more and more engaged couples select their bridal party and bridal march songs based on their taste and what’s meaningful to them.

When the Husband and I got married in 2001, we chose Canon in D by Pachelbel for our bridal party’s march music and for my very own walk down the aisle, I was accompanied by Shania Twain’s From This Moment.

I know some of you may think it’s tacky but Shania’s song holds a lot of meaning for us. How can you not fall in love with the message of the song?

I just swear that I’ll aways be there.
I’d give anything and everything and I will always care.
Through weakness and strength, happiness and sorrow,
for better or worse, I will love you with
every beat of my heart.

and hey, I’m living it :-)

What was your bridal march song?

i’m using “when God made you” by Natalie Grant. The words are awesome and just says everything about our Love.

The bridal party are marching in to “Unchained melody” by the Righteous brothers and thats only cos it’s the H2B favourite song
