You don’t have to give the newlyweds the gift at the wedding. You can give them a wedding card with a note to say that their wedding gift is being ‘prepared’ and that it is coming soon.
What you do is take photos with your hand dandy digital camera and print 10 of your favorite shots of the wedding, slip them into the album and ta-da, you’ve got a personalized wedding gift!

I actually did just this for my best friends wedding, only to find out that her mother and her aunt were already doing this for her as well. This didn’t discourage me though. I gave it my own little flare. Instead of a wedding scrapbook I did a before and after scrapbook. Since I had been friends with both her and the groom for several years I had plenty of photo’s to pick from, and I collected pics and things from after they were married too!
