A man in Fall Cree, Wisconsin went all out this Halloween to advertise his affection, turning his front yard into a seasonal wedding proposal. Cliff Bates actually carved his marriage proposal to girlfriend Janet Spindler into his jack o lanterns. Bates also carved out a “yes” and a “no” pumpkin for Spindlers answer.
Hmmm, I wonder if Janet said yes? :-)

Let’s hope she said yes.
It’s always a risk with these very public proposals that you might get the wrong answer and be so embarrassed you never want to show your face in public again.
I do hope she said yes.

Seems like anything requiring so many props is being done more for the love of an audience than for love of a fiance. But maybe I’m being really really mean here. :)
