Weddings in Italy
When I was a child, I have always had this fantasy that I will get engaged in Paris and get married somewhere exotic — perhaps a western influence in my young Asian mind. As I grew up, I knew in my heart that the Philippines, the land of my birth is where I want to tie the knot and tie the knot I did. But that’s not the point of this entry. Ha!
The point of this entry is that getting married overseas is becoming a popular trend among couples nowadays and Italy is one of the most popular countries for these overseas weddings.
A couple of years back, two good friends of mine decided to get married at the Vatican but not after going through a lot of hassles (especially with the documentations they had to provide!) and this you should watch out for in case you plan to tie the knot in Italy.
