Welcoming the Bride and Groom
In the Philippines, tossing rice at the newlyweds (after their wedding usually at the church door) is a traditional symbol of prosperity and love for the newlyweds. With millions of people starving all over the world, it wasn’t considered kosher to waste rice on weddings.
That’s when engaged couples became creative, you can either use wedding bubbles or rose petals. For our wedding, we hade both and it was a blast!
