When Black is Out

I am sure every woman has a little black dress in their closet or wardrobe that is just waiting for the right occasion — a cocktail party, a date to the Opera or perhaps a romantic date with your man….these are all appropriate occasions to wear that little black number but weddings? Hmmm….
I have been to several weddings where some of the guests have worn black dresses. It used to be a no-no in the past but now…it seems wearing black is acceptable. I still don’t like it! But hey, that’s just me.
HOWEVER, just to make sure, ask the bride or the groom whether it is all right to wear a black dress/outfit to their wedding so you don’t risk of offending anyone. In most Asian weddings, it is STILL unacceptable and considered bad taste to wear a black outfit to weddings where black is synonymous to death or bad luck.
